Resumo:
The History is concerned with the countless transformations and permanence that occur with men and women through time. History is also polysemic, but, as a discipline present in the “curricular grade” of Basic Education, it can provide knowledge about human experiences, as well as contribute to the construction of our identity. Therefore, in this work, we present a problematization regarding the importance of teaching History in the 3rd year of High School, since the students of that year have already covered almost the entire course of Basic Education and the History curriculum in this stage of teaching. With regard to the objectives, we seek to analyze elements of historical awareness that the discipline can provide to students, as proof that they present about History, as well as the importance and reason for studying it, in addition, in the midst of experiences of the information and communication society, we seek to discuss how technologies in the classroom can renew teaching, as well as serve as a point for the formation of students' historical awareness. This study aims to understand the view that the students of the 3rd year of High School at the ECI Joel Pereira da Silva School, in the municipality of Carrapateira PB, have about the discipline of History through a case study, through a teaching that uses the qualitative method of the descriptive type and the bibliographical study to be based on the conception of some authors about the research in question. We will work from the perspectives of Jörn Rüsen 2001, Caio Boschi 2019, Selva Guimarães 2003, Israel Soares 2017, among others. It should be noted that most students received History as a subject that examines the past and others just to get a good grade on the ENEM (National High School Examination).
