Resumen:
In this work, the goal is to use an accurate Coupling Capacitor Voltage Transformer (CCVT) model to analyse the dynamic behavior of the equipment when submitted to some kinds of transient phenomena in power systems. The CCVT model used in this work is obtained from a software (TPCalc 1.1), which is in development. The referred software computes the CCVT linear parameters (resistance, inductance and capacitance). In this work, the software is improved to take into account the nonlinear parameters (magnetic core of the inductive tranformer) in the CCVT model, in order to become more realistic the digital simulations in EMTP-type programs for electromagnetic transient studies.
