auxílio do simulador comercial AspenTM.
representação do equilíbrio líquido-líquido-vapor.
presentes no sistema.
sempre constante, dentro do possível. |

Distillation columns represent challenging problems of control, so that the design of their systems of control
is not a trivial task. In this sense, knowledge of the dynamic behavior becomes essential in the development
and/or improvement of the control system. The objective of this study is to evaluate the dynamic behavior of
a high purity azeotropic distillation column, the performance of current control system is far below the
desired. The column is located in a commercial plant for production of vinyl chloride (MVC or C2H3Cl). The
study was conducted using the commercial simulator AspenTM. The thermodynamic model used, NRTL, was
efficient in the representation of the equilibrium liquid-liquid-vapor. From a balance between the phases
showed that along the column there is a reversal in the behavior of the main components that are present in
the system. The results also showed the great influence of the flow stream of HCU on the current
composition of the base, so it is advisable to keep this variable constant at a level where, within the possible. |
