Resumo:
New pedagogical approaches have emerged frequently due to the new demands of
today's society. In this sense, Educational Robotics has emerged as an innovative tool
to work on curricular and extracurricular content, under a dynamic, reflective and
collaborative principle. Thus, this study sought to map and analyze the scientific
productions that relate Educational Robotics to science teaching, understand the
national trend of publications in this field of research, and identify the bibliometric
variables involved, through a bibliometric analysis covering studies generated between
2019 and May 2023. The data were extracted by Publish or Perish software and
analyzed based on the bibliometric networks originated by VOSviewer. The results
obtained showed a decline in the number of publications processed within the
proposed theme and the time period studied, indicating the need for expansion.
Furthermore, they provided the identification of the relevance and connections
between the keywords. In relation to the authors and their respective journals, a
superficial, fragmented and generally isolated configuration was observed due to the
singularity of the publications presented. Finally, based on the aforementioned gaps
and the subsidies generated, Educational Robotics associated with Science teaching
is characterized as a promising area for further research.
