Abstract:
The pandemic arising from Covid-19 brought about a series of changes for society
asa whole, establishing a necessary system to prevent the spread of the virus, social
isolation, however, this modality triggered a series of consequences and damage,
notonly physical, but mental. The aim of this study is to present the effects and impacts
of social isolation in remote teaching on the learning process, emphasizing the
anxiety developed by students. The method applied to carry out this study is a
literature reviewin which the author, through readings in articles and other journals
taken from the Scielo, CAPES and BVS databases, with the application of
descriptors, presented herperception and theoretical basis discussed. The results
agree with the understandingof the impacts caused by social isolation in relation to
academic life. The need for a more detailed study was concluded, due to the negative
effects and biases, seeking alternatives to prevent and mitigate the impacts caused
to the mental health of this group of people.
