Resumo:
Partial differential equations constitute a major area in mathematics not only because its applications in
various branches of science and engineering but also for their theoretical richness in which several of the
most important mathematical ideas are used. The main objective of our work is the study of the maximum
principle for the Laplace equation with respect to the existence and uniqueness of a solution and its
continuous dependence in relation to the initial data and initial boundary values.
