Resumo:
In this work we tested the impact of considering the presence of an urban surface parameterization, the TEB module, into the BRAMS model. Two numeric experiments were run over Southeast Brazil. Considering the metropolitan region caused impact on the radiation budget and on the surface fluxes. As a consequence, temperature, humidity and precipitation were also affected. The urban surface parameterization produced more realistic values over metropolitan regions.
