Resumo:
The research work that comes being developed for this group has as objective to improve the
efficiency of the process of residuary water treatment and to become it economically more viable, for
material use adsorbent of low cost in the retention of dyes gifts in effluent of the textile industry. It
enters the several applied techniques of treatment of effluent in the industry the process of adsorption
of liquid phase is the used one in this line of research, having as adsorbent the commercial chitosan.
In order to study the effectiveness of cited biopolymer in the retention of the color of the effluent ones,
as well as some kinetic parameters, one proceeded assays from adsorption, for method of finite bath,
in different times of contact. The concentrations of the samples of studied dies, as well as the one of
its remain solutions, the adsorption assays had been after determined by means of UV-Visible
spectroscopy. In the study of the kinetic of retention in remain solutions, the values of reaction order
had been determined by models of integrated speeds of first of and second order.
