Saúde mental na Estratégia de Saúde da Família: uma articulação necessária.

Abstract

The integration between the actions of mental health and of the Family Health Strategy (FHS) is fundamental to the process of inclusion of the user with psychosocial suffering regarding society. This research seeks reflexibility about the actions developed at CAPS II and at the FHS, in Cajazeiras County – PB, aiming to verify the existence of communicability between these health fields, as well as if there is reception and reinsertion of the user in the family and in the community. It is an exploiting study with qualitative approach. The instruments utilized in the data collection were: observation, field diary, and semi-structured interview, having as participants of the research the professionals of the FHS and CAPS II. It has been observed that there is no articulation yet between the family health and the mental health equips, what results in the concentration of care to the user at CAPS; the FHS equip does not develop actions which promote the reception and the link to the user and the CAPS professionals use to promote practices without articulating them to the basic net. However, it is perceptible the desire of both parts for the real existence of this integration. It becomes fundamental the implementation of municipal public policies which promote the integration between mental health and the basic net of attention.
