Resumen:
This work had the objective to evaluate the effect of irrigation with treated domestic wastewater, originating
from the domestic sewer of the neighborhood Monte Santo, in the city of Campina Grande, PB, on the
production of native forages maniçoba (Manihot glaziovii Muel Arg.) and atriplex (Atriplex nummularia). The
seedlings planted in the experiment were propagated through the process of cutting, and separated into two
groups according to the quality of irrigation water. It was made measurements of the height and diameter
variables of planting for monitoring the development. The seedlings remained in the shade and were
transplanted to sixty days after planting. It was found that the seedlings that had better linear increasing rates
were the maniçoba seedlings irrigated with wastewater.
