Résumé:
This work was devoted to evaluate the frequency of 850 MHz, used commercially by the technology of
the movable telephony, it can work as factor precipitante of convulsive crisis, to turn cases subclinics in
clinics, or to interfere in the effects anticonvulsivantes of the drugs used for this end; to observe and to
analyze the effects happened in a certain group of subjects (Rattus norvegicus) when submitted to the
radiation and to compare them with the control group, no submitted the radiation. The effects were studied
through an experimental animal model (convulsion model induced by pentilenotetrazol). The results had
shown an increase of the time of latency and reduction in the number of animals that had convulsion and the
intensity of convulsion to the chronic exposition (10 days) at 850 MHz frequency and an additional
anticonvulsivante effect of fenobarbital represented for an increase of the limiar convulsion and for the
reduction of the convulsion degree.
