Resumo:
The present work deals with the theme The Manager's Contribution to Quality Education in Public Schools, which aims to discuss the contributions and functions of the manager in the educational process, so that he can promote quality education in public schools. And as specific objectives are: to reflect the importance of participation and monitoring of the manager together with the teachers and the pedagogical team, whether in planning, organization and school development; apply essential techniques and strategies to amplify the effectiveness of the educational processes within the institution and, thus, provide successful results, and finally, evaluate the school's pedagogical actions, aiming at better results in the learning, training and academic performance of students. School management is the basis responsible for the administration and organization of the school, in order to promote better teaching and learning conditions to make progress in the educational process. From this perspective, it is through the contributions of the school manager that the school will enable a more effective and meaningful education. Thus, for this to happen, it is necessary, in addition to leading and managing the functioning of the institution, to develop actions and strategies together, based on this that involves democratic management, in which participation in decision-making and actions must take place collectively. , involving the school team and the community. The research highlights some authors such as FAYOL (1989), LIBÂNEO (2001/2012), LÜCK (2008), among others. The approach used in the work is of a qualitative nature. The research technique was the use of the interview. A descriptive research was developed. The results obtained in this research demonstrate the importance and the various contributions that the manager provides in the educational field, effecting success and quality in teaching in public schools, in order to provide even better conditions in education, through their practices in school management democratic.
