To Evaluate the cicatricial evolution of experimental surgical wounds,Five Young cattle had been used, mixed breed, clinically healthy. Two experimental groups, represented for each one of paralombar fossa of each animal. After feed jejum for 12 hours, the animals had been sedated with xylazine and anesthetized with lidocaine. After the surgical procedure was initiated, carrying through a cutaneous incision of ten centimeters in the center of each paralombar fossa. The dermorraphy of the wounds of the control group was carried through with nylon wire to monofilamentar number 0,40 and in the group treatment with the cianoacrilate ester adhesive. The cutaneous wounds had been evaluated daily until the tenth postoperative day how much to edema, secretion and dehiscence. For histológica evaluation of the cicatricial process, had been carried through biopsias of both the experimental wounds (control group and treatment) to the 10, 20 and 30 days after the surgery. They had been evaluated the adhesiveness of the cianoacrilato glue that if it showed efficient giving a good coaptation of edges of the surgical wound, the duration of the trans-operative, where it got an average reduction of 9,8 minutes for the group treatment, the postoperative evolution that was satisfactory not being observed no alteration on the cicatricial the macroscopical and microscopical aspect.
