Abstract:
This study aims to reflect on the process of digital literacy of students at a public school in Campina Grande
– PB. Its objective is to understand problems about this process and seek grants for the idealization of
practices consistent with reality of learners. So, is the analysis of educational situations that allowed you type
in contemporary practice, in view of available technologies. 41 students attended the 2nd year of high
school, Elpídio de Almeida school among these, 22 females and 19 males with average age between 16
and 21 years. The data analysis shows the formation of a digital literacy and multiple muldimensional,
confirming studies in the area (BUZATO, 2007; ROJO, 2009, and COSCARELLI RIBEIRO, 2007). Thus, we
see that this is a process that sets: a) you type in practice, demonstrated by the students know and using b)
the production and use of other languages, if the blog’s production, c) a network other literacy that intertwine
and finally, d) an opportunity of formation of human values. To be digital literate is to be citizen the
contemporary and the school shold to offer such education toward inclusion of a digital/social.
