Résumé:
The present work has as objective to show the accomplished activities in research project Teaching work in
Paraíba public schools: conditions and work relations. The referred project intended, during their realization,
to do a profile of teaching work, considering the established conditions and work relations in teaching public
schools in municipalities belonged to 3rd Paraíba Regional Teaching and, most specifically, in the
municipalities of Campina Grande and Fagundes. The study adopted, as simple categories, relates to
object subject, the malleable in work relations, the professional weakness and the intensification of teacher
work. As theoretical and methodological procedures, was utilized theoretical studies, documents analyses
– the Profession Plans – that regulates the teaching in referred municipalities and almost structured
interviews with public schools teachers in municipalities of Campina Grande and Fagundes. Based in
collected elements, it was evidenced that, also in studied municipalities, the teaching work is passing for
progressive precariousness process, that has meaningfully prejudiced the teaching exercise in public
schools.
