Resumo:
Soil is the great reservoir of biodiversity and exerts multifunctionality to
maintain life, however, inadequate use and unsustainable practices, pollute and
contaminate this integrated component of all ecosystems. The surprising amount of solid
waste deposited each day in the dumps could be minimized if the composting technique
was disseminated in schools, rural associations, organizations and communities. The
present work aims to contribute with information that makes feasible the sustainability of
agroecosystems, developing the process of aerobic biodigestion and composting, aiming
the environmental management and the use of organic waste produced. Composting
and biofertilizers were set up in the CDSA experimental area to disseminate practices
on field days with family farmers.
