Résumé:
The occurrence of pathological manifestations in a building can represent a series of factors and
diverse causes that compromise structures, systems, their proper functioning, and, most
importantly, the health and integrity of its occupants. With this in mind, this study presents a
case study of the Technical Education Institution "Monsenhor Vicente Freitas" located in the
municipality of Pombal, state of Paraíba, through the survey and analysis of pathological
manifestations. The study was based on the procedures outlined in NBR 16746:2020, which
provides guidelines and procedures for conducting building inspections. The research was
conducted through on-site inspections, photographic documentation, classifications, tabulation,
and generation of graphs, in order to present them by priority, representing the order for
addressing each damage in the building. For data treatment, the research applied the GUT
Matrix methodology (Gravity, Urgency, and Tendency) to determine the degree of
prioritization for addressing the pathological manifestations.
