Resumo:
In parallel to the traditional economy, there is the creative economy, which has as its raw material
creativity, culture and intellectual capital. In conjunction with this, the concept of development
sustainable development contributes to the understanding of an alternative development model, based on
tripod of sustainability (social, environmental and economic). In this work, it is argued that aspects of
culture and creativity can also be added to the tripod, considering the scope of
sustainable development in the face of a creative economy. Based on the relevance of these two
constructs, this research has as its general objective: to analyze the state of the art of scientific production
international conference on creative economy and sustainable development. The method chosen was a
bibliometric analysis with exploratory research in the Web bases Science and Scopus. The study presents
an overview of the field for the period from 1997 to 2023, with a population of 872 articles and a sample
of 540. There is a trend in the evolution of the theme with considerable growth from
2017. However, productions up to 2008 serve as support for the theme. The first
productions took place in the United Kingdom, but currently China is taking the lead,
mainly with research on innovation. The main developments on the topic are in
around innovation, tourism and cities. It is argued that there is a field that needs to be further explored. Per

decision making.
