Resumo:
Open government is a concept that refers to transparency, participation and collaboration
between the government and citizens. It is a governance model that aims to strengthen democracy and
improve government efficiency, allowing greater citizen involvement in decision-making
decisions and monitoring government actions. In this sense, this article aimed to
objective to present an analysis of works on the topic Open Government in the Library
Brazilian Digital Theses and Dissertations (BDTD). To this end, a methodology was used
descriptive and bibliographical, with elements of bibliometrics. Some variables were used
for the analysis of identified work, such as: Institution involved and most productive;
Program; Knowledge area; Applied methodology and/or study approach; Year of
production and quantity; Gender of authors; Keywords; Postgraduate levels that
develop research (master's or doctorate) and Proposals for future work. You
results demonstrated that 19 works were produced, including theses and dissertations, in the
years from 2012 to 2021 The results of this research may also be relevant to attract
attention of government managers. By demonstrating the importance of open government and its
impact on the efficiency of public policies, managers can be encouraged to adopt
practices of transparency, participation and collaboration in their governance strategies. That
can lead to the development of more informed, responsible and
aligned with the needs and expectations of citizens.
