Resumo:
Studies prepared by the Government Planning Department of the State of Rio
Grande do Sul present signs of territorial dynamics that, in the long term, could
worsen existing regional inequalities. This scenario requires the action of
public administration at the territorial level, which is why planning aimed at
Regional development is demonstrated as one of the alternatives to address the issue. A
The purpose of this research is to examine whether the planning process carried out
within the scope of Corede Sul, it is taken into account in regionalized government planning,
operationalized through the 2016-2019 Multi-Year Plan. Furthermore, we seek to investigate which
percentage of these projects were executed in 2016 and 2017. To achieve these objectives,
we sought to establish comparisons between the Corede Strategic Development Plan
South and the Regionalization and Achievements Notebooks of Functional Region 5. The results
obtained demonstrated that just under half of the projects in the development plan
of Corede Sul could be found in the regionalization notebook and even smaller was the
proportion of actions implemented in 2016 and 2017.
