Resumo:
The general objective of this work was to propose guidelines for designing graphical interfaces for urban mobility communication systems taking into account the User Experience (UX) in information application interfaces for public transportation in João Pessoa, the capital of Paraíba. For this, three mobile platforms for public passenger transportation were used as objects of study: Moovit, Jampabus and CittaMobi. In order to achieve the proposed results, the methodological design of the research was divided into three distinct phases: (a) exploratory research (literature review); a (b) pragmatic evaluation, which used methods of analysis for similar products, focus group, participant profile questionnaire and usability test; and finally, the (c) hedonic evaluation, which sought to understand the attributes perceived by the user when applying the semantic differential questionnaire. Altogether, a total of 29 participants collaborated with the study, among experienced and inexperienced users with applications of the genre and of different age generations. According to the participants' profile questionnaire, all respondents consider the use of information applications for public transportation to be important, and among their greatest needs are looking for schedules, discover alternative routes and finding information about lines. The results allow us to infer that experienced generation Y users had better efficiency and effectiveness compared to inexperienced users of the same generation and generation X as a whole. With regard to the users' perception of satisfaction, the synthesis of the semantic differential data shows that the majority of the participants attribute pleasant feelings regarding the aesthetics, emotional aspects and usability of the interface. Finally, development project guidelines were generated for public transport information interfaces and a high-fidelity prototype was proposed as a model, taking into account some dissatisfactions observed in the research.
