Resumo:
The present work deals with the weight-length relation of the species Rhinella jimi,
Rhinella granulosa and Rhinella crucifer in three brejos of altitude located in the
municipality of Taquaritinga do Norte, Caruaru and Bezerros of the state of
Pernambuco. Where this relationship is used to describe the energy use in these
populations during the collection period, in which these altitude wetlands are wet and
isolated exception areas in the semi-arid zones of the northeastern region and the sertão.
The collections were carried out bimonthly in the months of October 2017 to December
2018, which were carried out in three highland swamps of the state of Pernambuco, in
which the captured individuals were euthanized by overdose of the anesthetic Lidocaine
5%, and later biometric data were collected, such as face-cloacal length ( CRC) and the
total mass (g). We captured 44 individuals of the species Rhinella Jimi, Rhinella
crucifer and Rhinella granulosa, where we can see that all populations of individuals
presented the same allometry coefficient (b) <1, indicating a growth negative allometric.
. However, it can be observed that the species had the same rates of energetic gain and
body mass, in which these can be related to the different environmental conditions and
to the characteristic biogenetic aspect of each species.
