Resumo:
The purpose of this work is to present a critical analysis of the management and
execution of the National Policy to Combat Violence against Women (PNEVM) during
the government of former President Bolsonaro, more specifically in the period between
2020 and 2022. Marxist-based historical-critical-dialectical materialism, as the
methodology used was bibliographical, documentary and quantitative-qualitative
research of secondary data, where we critically analyzed the official data available on
the federal government website, on the Transparency Portal and in the reports of the
Court Union accounts. As a result, we concluded that the Bolsonaro government did
not allocate any resource from the PPA (2020/2023) to PNEVM, so the underfunding
of the policy disrupted the protection, assistance and promotion services for women in
situations of violence, as a result there was an increase of 13 .6% of conceptions of
Urgent Protective Measures (MPUs) and an increase to 21.5 million Brazilian women
who have already suffered some type of violence.
