Resumen:
This work aims to study, through simulations and experiments, the
reconstruction of the profile of polarization of electromagnetic wave in the far field (RCD). This reconstruction requires the parameters of amplitude and phase of electric field. Access to these variables is through this method of linear components, which in this study was tailored to suit laboratory conditions. Through knowledge of the
polarization profile can identify the behavior of the electric field radiated. Hence the importance of reconstructing the pattern of polarization of electromagnetic wave. And also through knowledge of the polarization can uncover potential problems caused by
electromagnetic interference. Through adjustments made in the method of linear components described in the literature, such as replacing the line split. This device was intended to enter the delays in the signal received through this gap and identify the phase of the signal radiates. It was replaced by miniaturized planar transmission lines
designed and built in FR4 substrate to act as a discrete phase shifter system. The use of these miniature antennas aimed at reducing the physical space and optimize the process for obtaining the polarization of electromagnetic wave. Some antennas arranged in the simulated laboratory and others designed and built were used as the receiving system in order to validate the technique of linear components and modified to recreate the conditions of the far field. The simulation results, experimental and mathematical approach are obtained in accordance within expectations, although there are several variables in the experimental procedure that can provide considerable errors. Despite the limitations of laboratory results presented here are satisfactory.
