Centro comunitário novo horizonte: espaço de convivência e assistência social.

Abstract

The following work has as its theme the architecture of community public equipment in an area of social vulnerability. Within this universe, there is objective to develop, based on participatory methods, preliminary architectural study of a community center in Novo Horizonte Community, located in the Distrito neighborhood Industrial, on the urban outskirts of Campina Grande-PB. In more specific form, search (1-function) plan building multipurpose, which meets the diversity of usage demands the local community; (2-form) propose formal solution and inviting space and integrated into the identity of the community; (3-technique) prioritize construction systems that favor the economy and socio-environmental adequacy. For this, uses as research techniques: tour of the community, interviews, questionnaires and surveys bibliographic and documentary. They are research participants community members and their representatives.
