Royal jelly considered one of the bee products most relevant to the hive, as it serves as food for the larvae at the beginning of its development and for the queen throughout its lifetime, which allows its differentiation in the colony. For these characteristics and answer, the objective was to analyze, from scientific publications of the last three years, the therapeutic actions of royal jelly. For that, an Integrative Literature Review it realized between August and December 2018, on the virtual platforms of the Virtual Health Library, Medical Publisher and Science Direct. The preliminary search, from the term "royal jelly" in the title, referred to 622 scientific productions, however, from the application of human filters, article format document and publication period among 2016-2018, the sample consisted of 18 articles. The results indicated that there are multiple therapeutic actions of royal jelly, especially anti-hypercholesterolemic activity (14.74%, n = 5), antimicrobial activity (11.76%, n = 4), anti-inflammatory activity 82%, n = 3), antitumor/antiproliferative (8.82%, n = 3) and neutrophic/neuroprotective (8.82%; n = 3). Therefore, it concluded that it is important to stimulate the use of this natural product, since from its actions it is possible to prevent chronic and acute diseases, improving the quality of life of the people.
