Abstract:
A product, process or technology of plant, animal or microbial origin, intended for use
in the production, storage and processing of agricultural products is considered
Bioinput. The purpose of this work was to provide valuable information about bioinputs,
addressing their economic and technical aspects, to assist in agricultural production,
companies and research centers. Through this exploration of the use of bioinputs in
agriculture, the aim is to contribute to the advancement and proper application of these
bioinputs, bringing benefits both to the agricultural sector and to society as a whole.
The method applied in that work consisted of a qualitative approach (bibliographic
review analysis) and a quantitative one (calculation of the arithmetic mean). There is a
highlight for the years 2018 to 2023 (last 5 years), on the CAPES Periódicos platform,
and mainly with the publication of articles when the term Bioinsumos OR/NOT
beneficial microorganisms was used. And on the Google Scholar platform we were
also highlighted in the search when we used the term Microorganisms AND agriculture.
Research has a very important role in the development of the environment in which we
are inserted, and this study we conclude that it aims precisely to provide an incentive
in the search for knowledge and studies that talk about the use and development in
recent years of bioinputs, which use microorganisms as source of development and
food security and improvement of the environmental situation that has been of great
concern in recent times.
