Resumen:
Considering the possibilities for using of photovoltaic generation and aiming to contribute with its propagation, this work was elaborated based in two parts: (I) optimization of the power processing to realize water pumping; and (II) optimization of the power processing in single-phase converters. In the photovoltaic pumping system the optimization consists in reducing the losses in the power processing to reach a bigger volume of water pumped. Besides the study of the operating maximum efficiency point of the pump, it is also realized an analysis to maximize the power transfer between the photovoltaic generation and
the centrifugal pump to reduce the losses in each stage of the power processing. In the other part of this work, the optimization aims to mitigate the oscillating single-phase power that propagates through a power conversion system, where that oscillating power may be
undesired in signals that need to have their waveform direct, promoting several problems in the single-phase converter, for exemple: difficulty in its control; increasing the size and decreasing the life time of the elements which make up it; and decreasing of the life time
of the devices connected to its DC and/or AC side. In this work it is done a deep study of the single-phase converters, either the VSC or the CSC, working as the three kind of energy conversion addressed here: AC-DC, DC-AC and AC-DC-AC conversion.
