Aplicação da ferramenta de gestão 5S em uma agroindústria produtora de suínos na zona rural de Pombal – PB.

Abstract

The objective of this study is the application the tool of management 5S in an agroindustry of creation of pigs, located on the Pinhões site in the rural area of Pombal - PB, in the upper hinterland of Paraíba, 37 km from the capital João Pessoa. The Program 5S is a tool of management that enables the integration and participation of all the components that form an organization, providing a workplace comfortable, pleasant, organized, clean, lucrative and sustainable. To reach the result was realized an action research , because the researcher participated in all phases of the research, from the identification of the problem situation, to the development of the stages of deployment of the solution of the problem identified and application of the management tool 5S. The research presents characteristic descriptive and exploratory of way structured , being of character qualitative and quantitative. Having as search source bibliographical material and field research. Regarding the data, they were collected through primary sources, observed by the author, using a checklist, destined the company produces of pigs. Therefore the use of the tool of management 5S, can proportion continuous improvement of system of production and operation, and consequently avoid waste of unnecessary activity, comfortable workplace and help the company to be sustainable.
