Résumé:
This study focuses comprehensively on the analysis of crimes related to public tenders
and their profound impacts on society, carrying out a thorough assessment of the
legislation in force in this context, with emphasis on the Tenders and Contracts Law (Law
No. Lei 14.133/2021, which establishes a broad spectrum of infractions and their
respective penalties. Furthermore, this research explores in a concise but in-depth
manner the concept of bidding and the basic principles that guide this critical area for the
proper functioning of public administration. The methodological approach used in this
study is eminently deductive, based on an extensive review of rigorously selected
bibliographical sources, thus ensuring substantial depth in the topic covered. Reading this
work undoubtedly provides an exhaustive and enlightening understanding of the subject,
significantly increasing the quality and contribution of this study. In this context, it is
imperative to highlight that crimes related to public tenders have very serious
implications in both the economic and social spheres, due to corruption and the misuse of
public resources by managers, in addition to the notorious impunity that often
accompanies them. It is deeply regrettable that such infractions are still recurrent and
endemic, which makes the issue not only extremely current, but also undeniably
controversial, demanding energetic and effective actions to eradicate them and promote
transparency and integrity in the bidding process.
