Therefore, the main objective of the research is to analyze the dynamics in relation to the housing issue after the sedentarization process in the city of Sousa-PB, presenting reflections and propositional suggestions regarding the regularization of the lands on which the community resides. In addition to a bibliographical review immersed in the area of Anthropology and Law
to understand with more foundation the marginalization of these people. With the study, it was possible to identify that there is a sociocultural division of space that strategically maintains cultures considered inferior on the margins of society and without any assistance from the State, thus requiring interventions from the Federal Public Ministry (MPF) to have a minimum of
visibility. In this sense, the need to expose the fight for the right to housing will be portrayed, facing the challenges of a place in constant dispute, whether for territory or identity.
