Résumé:
In this work is presented the study and characterization of measurement CTs in steady state in the presence of non-sinusoidal primary current, and of protective CTs in the transient state, with high values of peak primary current and a high degree of asymmetry. Modern techniques of measurement were used, with employment of a
virtual instrument based on a digital data acquisition system and microcomputer, besides alternatives test circuits and instruments. The results indicate the need to review the standards and criteria for evaluation of CTs in relation to test methods and the degree of accuracy.
