Abstract

This research seeks to analyze how the Teaching of African and Afro-Brazilian History and Culture is approached in the 1st Year A of High School, through a questionnaire with the teacher, and the experiences of the topic in the classroom during teaching practice, taking into account that the study became mandatory through Law 10,639, sanctioned on January 9, 2003, and established by the National Education Guidelines and Base Law (LDB) through Art. 26.
