Abstract:
In this dissertação is studied the characterization of the one behavior of a system articulated under a constant load, that it uses as actuator a alloy with memory of form with main chemical composition main of nickel and titanium. A platform of tests was developed and implemented to submit these wires to the heating cycles and cooling.
An electric interface was elaborated which uses the development tool TMS320LF2407A eZdsp Starter Kit (DSK), with the Digital Processor of Signals of the family TMS320C24x,with the support of the programs eXpressDSP that it includes the development environment integrated Code Composer, DSP/BIOS programs in real time. This interface was
used to stimulate drive systems of electric control and angular position of the joint. Tests had demonstrated that the nal position of the joint can be controlled by means of the current that circulates for the wire, occurring bigger or lesser heating of the wire of metallic shape memory alloy. The main contributions of the present project of research deals with the application of an arti cial muscle to substitute the natural one and to rehabilitate special carriers of necessities the social activities, allowing the reintegration of individual its social activities.
