Resumo:
The power transformer is the most important equipment in a substation and guarantees its integrity, reliability and permanence of its operation. Possible failures in power transformers cause inconvenience to companies and consumers. For this reason, it is necessary to study techniques that can make defects in these equipments, making it possible to monitor parameters and avoid failures that result in unplanned corrective maintenance. The main objective of this work is to establish criteria to qualify the current condition and help in the diagnosis of faults in oil-insulated power transformers. This work will also present a case study of a particular company in the Brazilian electricity sector, aiming to contribute to the improvement of maintenance practices, from the standardization of tests and engineering practices, helping with the diagnosis of defects, failures and its causes.
