Resumo:
The idea of performing a public service is commonly linked to the notion of the individual’s
physical presence in the workplace, especially in a university. With worldwide spread of COVID 19, organizations were forced to respect social distancing and adhere to the teleworking regime
so they didn’t need to stop their activities completely. After being implemented on an emergency
basis at UEPB, the institution approved the Resolution 020/2022/CONSUNI, which officially
established the hybrid teleworking regime as a continuous policy in the post-pandemic period.
The present study aims to analyze the perception of employees at the State University of Paraíba
(UEPB), regarding the implementation, introduction, of the hybrid teleworking regime. From
this, we will conclude about the use of teleworking implemented in May 2022 at the institution.
A quantitative research was carried out using a Google Forms questionnaire, the questions were
distributed with values on the Likert scale from 1 to 5. 172 teleworkers from the university
participated in this study. The results show great ease on the part of the public employees, and we
clarify that teleworking brings benefits and ease to their performance in activities. Furthermore,
teleworking is pleasant, offering a good return and the institution provided support for this type
of work. Still, from the perspective of these teleworkers, it is worth staying in telework and they
want to stay in this regime, as it does not pose any security risks. It was also concluded that
Perceived Value and Habit are the factors that most directly impact the intention to continue in
the hybrid teleworking regime.
