Abstract:
This work aimed to narrate my reminiscences and social experiences since childhood, through a "time machine", which went through my schooling process, my family relationships and professionalization, with the dilemmas of my training as a graduate of the degree course in history, at UFCG, since the 1990s, as a pioneer of the night class, at UFPB, campus II, until my return, in 2016, with the conclusion in 2023. Starting from my memories, I used the experience report and self-writing, through the theoretical assumptions of Paul Ricoeur (2007), with the concepts of memory and forgetting. For a historical narrative of self-writing, I turned to Michel de Foucault (2014). Regarding the practice of teaching history, in youth and adult education (EJA), at Poeta Alceu Amoroso Lima School, in the city of Campina Grande, I experienced the pedagogical practices of Paulo Freire (1996).
