Abstract:
Develop and validate an educational technology of the guidance guide type for the
timely diagnosis of HIV infection, aimed at Primary Health Care professionals. Material and
Method: This is a methodological development study, which consisted of the formulation and
validation of an educational guide, carried out through the following steps: integrative
literature review; guide construction; validation of content and semantics of the guide by
expert judges. The research was developed in an electronic environment, covering the State of
Paraíba. To validate the guide, 13 expert judges from the health sector and 5 from other areas
participated. Data collection was carried out from August to September 2023, using adapted
validated instruments. To analyze the responses of expert judges from the health sector and
other areas, the Content Validity Index and the SAM Score were used, respectively. Results
and discussion: The guidance guide was considered valid in terms of content and appearance
according to expert judges, presenting an overall CVI of 0.92, higher than the minimum CVI
value required. The TE has 92 pages, divided into 7 chapters, covering strategies for the timely
and accurate diagnosis of HIV infection and practical recommendations, aiming to facilitate
the teaching-learning process for health professionals. Conclusions: After suggestions from
expert judges, the guide went through a review and editing process. It is hoped that the guide
can contribute significantly to advances in the timely diagnosis of the infection, and with health
promotion practices.
