Resumo:
Working the popularization of knowledge ahout
soils and Agroecology in the ciassroom is to enable discussion on
minimizing environmental degradation, food security, sustainable
production of food, of living with the specifics of the Semi-Arid.
Initiatives that promote learning enjoyable and motivational way,
help to create a more enriching learning environment. The paper
presents the experience of Soi! Theatre with themed puppets, to
raise awareness of caring for the earth. The activity is held at the
Education Space in Solo (campus UFCG) and schools of Sumé-PB.
Working themes of degradation and environmental conservation,
the characters talk, in a fun way with the public. It is noticed that
the activity with the Soil Theatre has helped to create a climate of
much contentment, interest and excitement about the discussion
on soil content, with the participation ofstudents. It was concluded
that this way of speaking of soils is an important methodological
tool that should be better exploited by educators to make the most
motivational and meaningful education.
