Resumo:
The study is about a survey made with CATA textile workers - Companhia Amazônia Têxtil de Aniagem - who had a rural background. The interest in approaching the subject is based on the sense of observing how the rupture of the relations of the rural work to the relations of industrial work takes place. In an attempt to reconstitute the migratory process that led them from scouring the factory to better living conditions, one realizes that the concrete possibilities of survival are discouraging. Through interviews we seek to recover the rural past, the exit of the countryside and the present urban worker, capturing life experiences along occupational trajectories and the impact of change in the countryside / city relationship.
