Resumo:
The present study aims to evaluate the efficiency of Brazilian airports managed by the
Brazilian Airport Infrastructure Company (INFRAERO) using a joint approach of Data
Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and Game Theory. To carry out this evaluation, a study was
conducted with a sample of 31 airports distributed in different regions of the country, with data for
the year 2019. The proposed method is structured with a two-stage network model with noncooperative
play. In this approach, one of the stages is considered the leader, and its efficiency is
optimized first, while the efficiency of the other stage is later optimized under this condition.
Efficiency scores were also obtained through the centralized game. According to the results,
Congonhas airport is globally efficient. But in general, the sample has low overall efficiency, and
a better performance is obtained considering the second stage as the leader.
