Résumé:
The present work aimed to carry out a reflective analysis of the
possible advances caused by the implementation of FUNDEB in public education
Municipality of Cuité — PB. To do so, we briefly reviewed the history of
education in Brazil, addressing the issue of government responsibility after the
municipalization of education, creation of the first education fund - FUNDEF, and
subsequently an analysis of the implementation of FUNDEB. We discuss the Floor Law
Salary established by Federal Law for education professionals, with
objective of defining a salary standard for this category of servers
compatible with your professional training, but also addresses issues
related to the Career and Remuneration Plan for Teaching in the Municipality of
Cuité — PB. The research was carried out at EMEF Benedito Venâncio dos Santos Cuité
PB, with teachers, director, deputy director, as well as we interviewed the President
from APPMC, to obtain relevant data for research. After data analysis
collected, it was concluded that FUNDEB contributed significantly to the
improvement of basic education in the Municipality of Cuité—PB, but it presents points
negative aspects such as: lack of transparency in the application of FUNDEB resources and
lack of supervision by the Social Control Council. Regarding appreciation
of teaching, it was observed that the proposal for the National Salary Floor did not meet
fully meet the expectations of teachers.
