Resumo:
The implementation of OFDM schemes in optical communications systems has claimed interest in the last years among the field researches, due to its easy equalization and the capacity to transmit complex symbols constellations in the same tradicional direct detection hardware. This work intends to develop a set of numerical simulations to implement the constant envelope version of the optical OFDM, which urges as a solution against the high PAPR of theses systems, being evaluated the parameters choice according with the transmissor, the fiber and the receptor influence. For this, tests in B2B and with fibers links were made, being verified the greater resilience of the CE-DDO-OFDM against the effects of the optical modulator compared to a conventional OFDM optical system, despite also be more sensitive to the negative effects of chromatic dispersion.
