In this dissertation, the design and implementation of a real-time system are presented. This system contains two level hierarchy , one remote and one central unit for mensurement of" telephone traffic in eletromechanical telephone exchanges. The design philosophy of the software is based on the use of real-time executive for task schedulíng.
Some results obtained with the ímplemented system used with eletromechanícal telephone exchange NC-400 manufatured by NEC, installed on the premises of TELPA S/A in Campina Grande, are presented .
