Résumé:
The Water Safety Plan represents the hazard prediction strategy, through risk monitoring, that
may threaten the quality of water for human consumption. This work explored the current
procedures in the control of the quality of the water produced and distributed, where all the
stages of the Supply System were evaluated, and all the risks potentially existing in each of
these stages were highlighted, also elaborating the control measures to mitigate the risks
identified, where at the end a water safety plan is developed and proposed in the Piranhas
River, directed to the use of water for the Supply System of the municipality of Pombal, in
Paraíba.
