Resumo:
The design aspects and performance characteristics of an ECG amplifier implemented with only 2C. I s LM 324, are presented and discussed. Also explained is the use of the "Right Leg Drive" technique to minimize 60 Hz "pick-up" in the body. The considerations about the project that uses the telephone line as a means of transmitting, between two locations, FM signal modulated by the ECG signal are discussed. Test results from a prototype are presented. The problems associated with the simultaneous transmission and demodulation of FM signals modulated by bioelectrical signals using a telephone line are presented and discussed.
