The Brazilian education system has undergone several reforms over the years and the most recent is theof Secondary education reforms, Law number (13.415\2017), which brings a new perspective for teaching, focusing on preparation for the job market. The focus on creating the secondary profissionalizing education caused some subjects to be “forgotten”, it has and a change in the curriculum that become some subjects such as sociology, as something that is not mandatory as a subject, but it is present as “studies and practices”. Based on this changes that have occured,this research sought to understand the impacts of the New secondary school curriculum in the two schools, in Serra Branca-PB, from the perspective of managers and teachers. The qualitative approach research analyzes the Senador José Gaudêncio, which is a regular school, and the full-time profissionalizing education school Inácio Antonino. A total of six interviews have been carried out managers and teachers in order to understand what this transition process is like for the new secondary school curriculum, that began to be inplemented in 2022. After the interviews, it became clear despite the two different realities of the schools, teachers have common opinions about the new model, criticizing its implementation and financing, besides praysing for the way in which the changes the disciplines are included , the directors already reach a consensus when it comes to the organization of pedagogical work, but they differ when it comes to structure and financing.
