Resumo:
This article aims to discuss the relationships between children, cities and
toy libraries. To this end, three workshops were analyzed, carried out as extension activities, in a university toy library located in a medium-sized municipality in the interior of Mato Grosso. The workshops were
recorded on video, transcribed and later analyzed using as units the scenes defined according to the camera movements or the end of the recorded games. In the analysis, three aspects called the
attention: (1) the plurality of meanings of the term city, (2) the articulations
between toy library and university that updates existing tensions in the plan
macro of relations between children and cities and (3) asymmetries in interaction
between adults and children during the workshops.
