Resumo:
The present research has the general objective of analyzing the lexical linguistic variations of the Portuguese language in the textbook for the 6th year of elementary final years. With regard to specific objectives: reflect on the formation of the Portuguese language; highlight the historicity of the formation of the Portuguese language; identify the transmission of lexical linguistic variations of the Portuguese language in the textbook for the 6th year of elementary final years. It is an intriguing topic, given its dimension in the context of Portuguese language teaching today. The methodology used in the construction of this work is bibliographic in nature, it is qualitative research, because it seeks to analyze how lexical variation is treated in the textbook and analytical. The theoretical contribution is based on the works of Bagno (2007), Tardif (2009), among others. In this sense, it is noticeable that there is a lack of consideration in the study of lexical variation and that can be mitigated through a study of the contextualized language.
