The farming goat has suffered big economical losses with the indiscriminate use of sintetical anthelmintics owing to the resistance acquired for the parasites to this farmacs. With this, are necessaries new alternatives ecologically write and economically viable to the control of the gastrointestinal helmintiasis of goats. Therefore, the objective of this study was to evaluate the action in vitro of the etanolical extracts of Parreira (Cissus erosa) and of the root of da Batata de purga (Operculina hamiltonii) on eggs and larvae of gastrointestinal nematodes of goats. The recovery of the eggs was realized in tamises and the larvae were obtained by means of larval culture, from feces of naturally infected goats of semi-arid paraibano. The extract was used on the concentrations of 50; 25; 12; 6 and 3 mg.mL-1 to both tests and as positive control 0,2 mg.kg2 of albendazole 5% and to witness, was used distilled water. The plates were examined on the optical microscopy to the counting of the eggs in development and movable and immovable larvae, after 24 h, 48 h and 72 h of incubation. As much the concentrations of etanolical extract of C. erosa as the concentrations of the extract of O. hamiltonii differed as the number of inviable eggs and on the test of larval motility. Was observed to the concentrations of the extracts of both plants that the percentage of viable eggs and larvae decreased with the growth of the concentrations and of the time of exposition, being the time of 72 hours responsible to the minor percentage of viable eggs and larvae.
